Tessa Sanchez
Writer
As a sophomore at Boston University, Tessa left her hometown of Los Angeles to discover the Eastern shore. She bundled up and set out to explore every square inch of the Bean. Now this newcomer is an old pro and in Boston, you can find her at Barnes and Noble with a stack of magazines or playing dress up at her favorite vintage shops. She has wild travel tales, like when she was paraded through the streets by crazy Florentines the night Italy won the World Cup, spent New Year's Eve dancing on the beach in Santa Marta, Colombia or accidentally broke her surf instructor's nose in Oahu. She feels most alive on the dance floor and drinks about 6 cups of green tea to get her through the day. In addition to MAP, Tessa has worked at Metro.Pop magazine and will intern at the Los Angeles Times this past summer. Although she is still adjusting to the bitter cold, she called Boston home when she could tell you the approximate distance from her dorm to the North End.
