Ryan has been live on the Boston scene since her freshman year at Boston University 7 years ago. Always the extrovert - and sometimes known as a social butterfly - she has made it her job to frequent as many restaurants, bars, clubs and lounges as possible as often as possible. She has traveled extensively, most notably wandering Italy solo on a 10-day adventure and voyaging to Kenya with her mother, a professor of Linguistics.

In 2005, Ryan co-found a nightlife Internet start-up called BarFrog.com, a role that had her writing, schmoozing and taking on the town 6 out of 7 nights a week. She is now an active and avid MAP writer, working hard to discover every hot Boston trend out there. In her spare time, Ryan loves to take dance lessons, blog and giggle.
