Jean Zove
Writer
Jean transplanted to Boston from her hometown of Philly to go to Emerson College, and loved it too much to leave after she graduated in 2004. She has since lived in Back Bay, the South End, Brookline, and Jamaica Plain. Jean loves to discover hidden gems in every neighborhood, and is especially on the lookout for vintage record stores, great sushi and ice cream. She hopes to travel to every state in the U.S. someday, and has been working her way across by hiking the Grand Canyon, driving to Santa Fe, and eating jambalaya in New Orleans. When not working on MAP, Jean can be found biking around the Emerald Necklace, listening to music in Cambridge dive bars, or banging metal to make jewelry for her line of JZ Originals. Jean knew Boston was home when she stopped getting lost, and started being able to give directions to tourists.
