Our designer Kyle came in today to open boxes of the new books. He was super enthusiastic and silly–as you can see from the pictures. We are all excited to finally have it in our hands (and now that it’s available in stores) put it in yours!

MAP is featured (along with other super cool publications) on Bargainista Media. Bargainista is self described as “two broads, two online magazines, three dogs, a blog, two Ginger Ninjas, and one kick-ass weekly deals web site.” Check them out.

We headed out to Wilmington, MA EARLY in the morning for a
“Press Check” at Kirkwood our printer. Steve set-up each of the pages
that are going to be printer on the 6 Color Heidelberg and then we got
to check to make sure everything was coming out the way we wanted. It
takes about 3 hours for them to print ALL the copies of each page, so
we hung out in the waiting room working on marketing stuff to pass the time between jobs.

Proofs arrive in the MAP office today. We’re all super excited to have some tangible MAP in our hands. It came in signatures (two chunks of 16) and we are going over every word on every page. We want it to be the absolute best, so we’re making list, checking it twice!

Today we finally finished everything on MAP and sent it to the printer! Later this week we should get proofs of what the book will look like for a FINAL chance at corrections — and then it will go to PRESS!
