Lauren M. Brock is the photographer of MAP Boston 2007 - 2008. While her photography has been showcased in multiple student exhibitions throughout Boston, MAP is the first book to publish her ever-distinctive images.

Having called home to cities throughout coast-to-coast U.S. and abroad in Florence, Italy, Lauren's well-developed people skills and effervescent personality set store owners at ease during each encounter to shoot MAP locations. This included getting clearance to move furniture, arrange objects, stand on chairs -- whatever means necessary to execute her particular vision!

When not working on MAP, Lauren can be found setting trends with her quirky interests and no-rules (but somehow it works!) take on fashion. When it's time to relax after editing that last batch of images, it wouldn't be unusual to find Lauren watching her collection of precious VHS tapes for the umpteenth time. Twin Peaks, anyone?
